Kharos é a menor ilha das Ilhas Proibidas. Muitos evitam até mesmo chegar perto da ilha, já que ela é um dos símbolos da maldade. O temível feiticeiro das trevas Ferumbras construiu uma cidadela aqui, como uma fortaleza. Quando ele foi derrotado, os poderosos magos da Academia de Edron selaram a entrada da cidadela com energia que era impassável por qualquer um, a não ser eles. Atente-se, pois quando o selo daqui começa a brilhar, o criador da torre pode estar preparando o seu retorno!
Alguns dizem que Kharos é o lugar mais difícil do jogo, sem contar os Pits of Inferno. Aqueles que não tem um nível consideravelmente alto, podem morrer instântaneamente ao entrarem.
Essa torre está cheia com todos os mais terríveis tipos de criaturas, incluindo muitos Liches, Serpent Spawns, Warlocks, Dragon Lords, Behemoths e Demons.
